freightpocalypse (the “Service”) is a parody freight-market entertainment web app operated by Colin Petty Solutions LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

It's a joke

The Service generates a fake “craziness score,” headline, and reaction GIF for a freight lane. It is satire and commentary on the freight industry. The score is not a real market indicator. The headlines are not real advice. The two on-site analysts — Fraig Culler of FreightSpacecraft and Aen Kdamo of BAT iQ — are fictitious characters. Any resemblance to real people, companies, products, or services is coincidental and intended as parody under fair use.

No advice

Nothing on the Service is financial advice, freight advice, broker advice, dispatcher advice, carrier advice, legal advice, or any other kind of advice. Do not make booking, pricing, hiring, investment, or operational decisions based on it. If you do, that is entirely on you.

Acceptable use

• Don't use the Service to harass anyone.
• Don't scrape, abuse, or attempt to bypass rate limits.
• Don't represent the verdicts as anything other than parody entertainment.

Intellectual property

All site code, design, copy, and assets are © Colin Petty Solutions LLC. The reaction GIFs are served via the Giphy API and remain property of their respective rights holders. Trademarks of real companies referenced in parody (FreightWaves, DAT, SONAR, RateView) belong to their respective owners.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, GIF availability, analyst civility, or that any of this will be entertaining.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Colin Petty Solutions LLC and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Total liability for any direct damages is capped at the greater of $10 or the amount you paid us in the past twelve months (likely $0).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Colin Petty Solutions LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version on this page. Continued use of the Service means you accept the current version.
